At B&B Solutions, it is our mission to continually move in a positive direction and to provide “Excellence From Start To Finish!” About the Position This position will be responsible for transportation services in support of the Defense Health Agency (DHA). Work will be performed within the Washington, DC. National Capital Region. Duties: Provide transportation support to the Department of Patient Administration MEDEVAC team when required. Provide transportation support to hospital staff and Troop Command when required Provide transportation support to Wounded Warriors for event transportation. Perform required administrative duties Provide customer service to the entire hospital community through knowledge and phone courtesy. Vehicles driven will include: Patient Evacuation Vehicle (PEV) Medical Ambus 44 passenger Ambulances Luggage Truck All Airbrake vehicles Vans, sedans, pick-ups, SUV’s Qualifications: Be a US Citizen (required) Have a CDL Class A with Passenger (P) and Airbrake Endorsements (required) Have 7+ years’ experience as a driver in the National Capital Region (required) Be able to successfully pass a Tier III background investigation and suitability Have basic computer skills Have a High School Diploma or Equivalency Licensure/Certification/Registration (required) Be able to successfully complete Emergency Vehicle Operator Course (EVOC) and maintain certification as required Be able to complete GSA Defensive Driver’s Course within 90 days of being on board Be able to remain current with licensing/certificates/training by Continuing Education Be able to read, write, speak and understand English well enough to effectively communicate with customers, supervisor and dispatchers for assignments, route information and customer service Job Type: Full-time with Some Overtime Hours at Time and a Half Rates Benefits: 401(k) Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Trucking home time: Home daily
