Job DescriptionGeneral Urologist Opportunity – Brattleboro, VermontSeeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible General Urologist to join a collaborative, single-site urology practice alongside an established urologist and nurse practitioner. This position provides comprehensive outpatient and surgical urologic care to adult and pediatric patients in a community hospital setting.Position Details:Diagnose and treat a wide range of urologic conditions including kidney stones, benign prostatic hyperplasia, incontinence, urinary tract infections, and other common disordersPerform surgical procedures with full preoperative and postoperative patient management in modern operating roomsProvide hospital and emergency department consultations as neededCollaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to deliver coordinated patient careParticipate in a light call schedule, averaging approximately 7 days per monthEducate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, and preventative careMaintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital policies and regulatory standardsParticipate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional developmentRequirements:MD or DO from an accredited medical schoolCompletion of an accredited Urology residency program in the United States or CanadaBoard Certified or Board Eligible in UrologyActive Vermont medical license (required prior to start)Active DEA registrationClean malpractice and license historyCurrent NPDB Self-Query report dated within 30 days of presentationAdditional Notes:Position is not open to locum or locum-to-permanent candidatesVisa sponsorship is not availableCandidates must be within reasonable commuting distanceOpportunity to work in a supportive, community-focused hospital with modern surgical facilities
