To deliver prompt, courteous service in a manner that complies with Omni Food and Beverage standards and company policies and procedures.ResponsabilitiesInterviews, selects, trains, supervises, counsels and disciplines restaurant staff for the efficient operation of the outlet. Organizes and conducts pre-shift and department meetings, communicating pertinent information to the staff, such as house count and menu changes.Schedules and directs staff in their work assignmentsMaximizes restaurant department profitability; implements effective controls of food, beverage and labor costs and monitors the restaurants budget to ensure efficient operations.Responsible for ensuring compliance with Omni Food and Beverage standards and company policies and proceduresResponsible for ensuring proper sanitation and organization of all work and service areasMaintain Liquor parsMonitor guest experience, satisfaction and comments regarding service and food of pool deck and restaurant.Examine food preparation, must be consistent and uphold qualitySupervise floor and deck operations during peak business hoursMonitor food and liquor requisitionsBe familiar with all beverage-related procedures related to liquor liability laws. Specifically Dram Shop Act-prohibiting sale of liquor to intoxicated guests and prohibiting sale of liquor to minors.Must know emergency procedures, including CPR and work diligently to prevent accidentsMonitor Kitchen and Stewarding staff on duty as scheduled and monitor productivityAll equipment in good working conditions and cleanAdministrative responsibilities include but not limited to: beverage requisitioning, bar controls and procedures, food requisition for service, end-of-month inventory, bar and operating supply security, weekly schedule, tips input, monthly budget, monthly volume forecast, weekly volume forecast, staffing requirements, weekly payroll forecastBe familiar with all beverage-related procedures and equipment including reconciliation/deposits, charge procedures, house charges, check control, walkouts, meal period change, and reporting systemsContributes to a professional workplace that maximizes employee moral, productivity and effectiveness. Works well with a diverse FOH and BOH staffPerform any and all other duties assigned and or required by managementComputer programs such as Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.Corporate software programs such as WFC, Open Table, Synergy, Epitome, MicrosQualificationsMinimum 2 year management experience, preferably pool areaMust have problem solving abilities, be self-motivated and organizedMust have an unexpired tips certificationMaintains a clean and professional image at all timesAbility to understand and follow written and verbal instructionsMust be able to work flexible shifts and schedules, including weekends and holidaysCommitment to quality service, and food and beverage knowledgeMust have very strong communication skills Must be comfortable talking and interacting with guests in a pool environmentMust be self motivatedMust be at least 21 years of agePhysical RequirementsThis position will spend 85% of the time standing and 15% of the time sittingThis individual must be able to transport up to 50 pounds on occasion and up to 35 pounds regularlyAbility to bend and reach above head holding up to 10 pounds frequentlyWorking EnvironmentExposure to Food and Beverage hazardous cleaning chemicalsExposure to food items and beveragesExterior of Hotel with exposure to weather conditionsInterior of hotel, in the restaurant, and kitchen.
