Digital Product Owner II Hoover, AL 12month Contract to Hire Pay Rate: $60.00 - $80.00per hr / Salary Target: $130K - $141K Job Description: We are seeking a Digital Product Owner to act as the liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, driving the successful delivery of digital products and process improvements. This individual will gather and prioritize business requirements, manage product backlogs, support Agile and Waterfall delivery teams, and ensure solutions align with business strategy, customer needs, and operational goals. The ideal candidate has strong stakeholder management skills, experience leading cross-functional initiatives, and the ability to translate complex business needs into actionable technical solutions. Required Skills 4+ years of experience in Digital Product Ownership, Business Analysis, Project Delivery, or Process Improvement Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall software delivery environments Strong experience gathering, documenting, and prioritizing business and technical requirements Experience managing product backlogs, user stories, and acceptance criteria Ability to work cross-functionally with business leaders, developers, QA, UX, and infrastructure teams Strong stakeholder communication and relationship management skills Experience identifying operational risks, dependencies, and process improvement opportunities Knowledge of product lifecycle management and software delivery processes Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience Bonus Skills SAFe Practitioner (SP) certification Experience in enterprise-scale digital transformation initiatives Background supporting infrastructure, mobile, or customer-facing digital platforms Experience with process engineering and change management methodologies Experience in regulated or compliance-driven environments Familiarity with operational metrics, adoption tracking, and reporting Financial services, banking, AML, BSA, CDD, or OFAC experience Welcome to ConsultNet, a premier national provider of technology talent and solutions.
