Personal Care Aide

Caregivers is looking for a personal care aide/home health aide for Jefferson County. The essential functions of the job are:Lifting and turning of patients in bed or chairs. Transferring patients from bed to chair; chair to bed, etc.Giving patients a complete bed bath.Assist with bathing at sink, tub, shower.Bedmaking, occupied or unoccupied bed.Assist with toileting.Patient transfer with use of equipment, e.g., mechanical lift or slide board.Assist with ambulation and feeding.Light housekeeping activities such as vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, mopping, washing dishes, laundry, ironing, maintaining cleanliness of patient's environment, shopping for patients.Principal AccountabilitiesProvide personal care and related services.Observe client and communicate any change in status.Prepare and submit accurate and timely documentation of services provided to clients as required by Caregivers policy and government regulations.
