Discount ProductsWe are seeking an Oven Operator to join our hard working and fast-paced team. You will assist in a variety of positions or tasks with the production of a variety of breadproducts. All work will be performed in accordance with SQF Food Safety procedures. Job tasks may change from day to day depending upon production needs.Ability to:Required. Perform in a friendly, courteous, tactful way and maintain composure in dealing with coworkers.. Visually inspect products.. Stand for long periods of time, walk, move rapidly, bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently.. Operate bakery utensils, ovens and machinery with manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination and safety.. Handle bakery ingredients and products from raw to ready to eat.. Perform basic math (add, subtract, divide and multiple) and compute weights and measures.. Perform duties with mental alertness involving potential hazards with respect to bakingprocedures, equipment, and work aides.. Perform around equipment and product emitting heat (approximately 400 degrees).. Learn safety and sanitation procedures and department policies.. Perform primary duties with efficiency and accuracy.. Wear hats, hairnets, gloves, and other personal protective equipment as required.. Lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs. regularly.Requirements. Must be 18 years of age. No high school diploma or equivalent required.. Previous experience in similar production line duties at a large commercial or artisan bakery is preferred.. Work experience in other similar industrial, manufacturing, or a production-line environment maysubstitute..
