Integration & Test TechnicianLocation: Los Angeles - 20 minutes from LAXEngagement: W2 - Contract to hireStrativ are partnered with a high-growth venture backed defense technology company, who specialize in advanced sensing, detection and communication systems.We are looking for a number of Integration & Test Technicians to support system bring-up, configuration and validation across hardware and networked systems.Minimum QualificationsNetworking: Proficiency in IPv4 fundamentals, including IP addressing, subnetting, DNS, and gateways. Familiarity with LAN/VLAN structures and routed environments.Operating Systems: Significant hands-on experience with Linux environments and command-line interface (CLI) tools.Scripting: Competency in Bash or PowerShell for task automation and system diagnostics.Tools: Exposure to automation platforms (Ansible preferred) and containerization tools (Docker).Analytical Skills: Ability to follow highly structured technical procedures while maintaining the autonomy to troubleshoot complex system-level issues.Preferred QualificationsIndustry Experience: Previous experience in aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing integration and test labs.RF Fundamentals: Familiarity with RF signal chains (Tx/Rx), including an understanding of power levels, gain, and the operation of power amplifiers and receivers.Systems Administration: Experience with SSH, serial interfaces, and remote device management.Software Workflows: Understanding of version control systems and software deployment pipelines.Data Analysis: Basic proficiency with data visualization or analysis tools to support engineering reports.
