You will implement behavior plans, support skill acquisition, and collaborate with caregivers and professionals to promote positive outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as a Behavior Response Team Lead supporting youth during behavioral challengesAssist with skill acquisition for clients and staff using approved strategies and techniques (WELLE-based)Implement behavior reduction protocols to address challenging behaviors and encourage appropriate alternativesProvide direct intervention support to youthBuild strong, positive relationships with clients and familiesCollaborate with caregivers, clinicians, and interdisciplinary team membersMaintain a safe, organized, and supportive environmentFollow all ethical guidelines, confidentiality standards, and agency policiesParticipate in required training and ongoing professional developmentCoach with daily activitiesQualificationsExperience working with youth in behavioral health, mental health, education, or human servicesKnowledge of trauma informed care and pain-based behaviorStrong communication, organization, and interpersonal skillsAbility to remain calm and professional in high-stress situationsCommitment to client confidentiality and ethical practiceWillingness to complete training and follow behavior intervention plansAt Avidity, we value diversity, inclusivity, and cultural competency, and we provide high-quality behavioral healthcare services to our clients.
