This maintenance mechanic will be responsible for ensuring all equipment is operating safely and efficiently by completing preventative maintenance requirements, following diagrams, reading operations manuals and troubleshooting malfunctions.Job ResponsibilitiesEnsure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; follow diagrams, operations manuals, and manufacturer’s instructionsMachine install and repair, maintenance and facilities repair, including electrical, mechanical, welding, fabrication of special parts as neededTroubleshoot electric, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems to determine causes of failures and recommends solutions for repairRepair facility equipment, fixtures, building, and groundsOperating equipment including overhead cranes, forklifts, rebar shear, cage machines and band sawMaintain the cleanliness, functionality, and safety of equipment and work areasOther responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed Job RequirementsMinimum high school diploma or equivalentPrevious maintenance experience with industrial equipment in manufacturing environment requiredIndustry basic: welding, electrical repairs, pneumatics, hydraulics, crane repair, forklift repair and metal fabricationFamiliar with OSHA regulations and maintain all equipment to be compliant with applicable safety and environmental standardsAbility to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team membersAbility to lift up to 40 lbs periodically throughout the dayWhat CRH Offers YouHighly competitive base payComprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programsGroup retirement savings programHealth and wellness programsAn inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotion About CRHCRH has a long and proud heritage.
