AI & Data Specialist

About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on AI & Data Specialist to lead, design, and integrate advanced AI and Generative AI solutions into our core systems. In this role, you will take full ownership of driving data initiatives, evaluating model output quality, and building end-to-end AI applications.Key Responsibilities:Lead the implementation and seamless integration of AI models and Generative AI solutions into enterprise systems.Work extensively with LLMs, Generative AI, Embeddings, RAG, and related architectures.Train/fine-tune AI models, evaluate performance, and rigorously measure results and output quality.Translate business and organizational needs into robust, data-driven AI capabilities.Threshold & Educational Requirements (Must Have):3+ years of experience in Data roles (Data Science, AI, Data Engineering, Analytics, or BI Development).At least 1 year of hands-on experience in Data Science.Education – One of the following:B.Sc. in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, Operations Research, or Mathematics.B.Sc. in Exact Sciences OR Research M.Sc. in Economics, Bioinformatics, Computational Linguistics, or Cognition + 200+ hours of certified Information Systems coursework.Ph.D. in any field (+ 1 additional year of relevant data experience).Graduate of an IDF Technological Unit (Mamram, 8200, C4I, or equivalent) with proven technological service.Professional Skills & Requirements:Proven hands-on track record in leading AI/GenAI implementations from concept to production.Deep practical knowledge in LLMs, RAG, and Embeddings.Strong experience in model evaluation, performance scoring, and prompt engineering/fine-tuning.Exceptional leadership skills, top-tier interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently with high self-learning capacity.Location: Jerusalem Work Model: Hybrid (1 day WFH)Employment Type: Full-time (8-9 hours/day, with required flexibility)
