About the Job The Material Handler serves our customers for success by ensuring the timely and accurate receiving and shipping of feed products and/or ingredients. Candidates must demonstrate skills in problem solving, time management, communication, collaboration, and adaptability. Responsibilities: Assemble customer orders, ensures all paperwork is in line, and verifies all loads are correct and ready for shipment in an efficient manner Unload shipments, record proper inventory, and place the items in the appropriate locations Properly palletize product, stretch-wrap, label, and stock inventory to ensure quality Keep track of all damaged inventory and report it to supervisor Maintain a clean and safe working environment Perform daily forklift inspections Other duties as assigned Requirements: High school diploma or a combination of education and work experience Basic knowledge of using and operating warehouse equipment required Forklift experience is preferred, but not required Possesses a self-starter attitude Works well in a team environment Valid driver's license is required Ability to work overtime and weekend hours, as needed Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background investigation Benefits: We offer a wide range of employee benefits along with competitive compensation, opportunities for career development, and a dynamic work environment.
