Position: Game Developer (Cocos2d-x)Type: Hourly contractCompensation: $50 - $120/hourLocation: RemoteCommitment: 10 40 hours/weekRole ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain game engine features using Cocos2d-x and C++. Optimize rendering performance, memory usage, and cross-platform functionality. Build scalable and maintainable architectures for multi-platform game deployment. Collaborate with designers, artists, and QA teams to implement and refine features. Troubleshoot and resolve complex engine and performance issues. Stay updated on advancements in game engine technologies and recommend improvements. Communicate technical concepts clearly within a distributed team environment. RequirementsStrong experience developing with Cocos2d-x and C++ for game projects. Solid understanding of computer graphics, rendering pipelines, and optimization techniques. Experience deploying games across mobile, desktop, and console platforms. Strong knowledge of cross-platform development challenges and solutions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail. Strong problem-solving skills in complex technical environments.
