The Davis Junction, IL facility offers a hands-on environment.Role Description The Machine Operator role at Roll-Rite, Inc. is a full-time, on-site position based in Davis Junction, IL. The person in this role will set up, operate, and monitor production machinery according to established procedures and safety standards. Daily tasks include loading materials, adjusting machine settings, inspecting parts during and after production, and performing basic maintenance or cleaning on equipment. The Machine Operator will follow work orders, record production data, and communicate with supervisors and team members to address issues or improve workflow. This role also involves supporting quality checks, safely using hand tools, and maintaining an organized work area.QualificationsCandidates should possess skills in machine operation and working with production machinery.Candidates should possess skills in quality control, including inspecting parts and ensuring products meet specifications.Candidates should possess skills in using hand tools safely and effectively in a manufacturing setting.Candidates should possess strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and report equipment or quality issues.Additional beneficial qualifications include prior manufacturing or warehouse experience, basic mechanical aptitude, ability to read and follow work instructions, and commitment to workplace safety.Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights as required, and work scheduled shifts reliably.Benefits: Pay: min wage with increases PTO: 1 week (40hrs) paid after 1 full year of full-time employmentSchedule: Mon-Fri. 7am - 3:30pm
