Family Practice - With OB Physician
Description & Requirements St. Luke's Health System is seeking a Family Medicine Physician with Obstetrics (FM-OB) to join our collegial, patient-centered team in McCall, Idaho . This role offers a unique opportunity to practice full-spectrum family medicine-including prenatal, delivery, and postpartum care-while serving a close-knit, rural mountain community. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive family medicine care across all ages (newborn to geriatric) Deliver full-scope OB care , including:Prenatal care Labor and delivery Postpartum care Participate in shared call coverage for obstetrics and family medicine Perform procedures aligned with training (e.g., C-sections if credentialed, depending on site needs) Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team , including MDs, APPs, nurses, and specialists Utilize Epic EMR to document and coordinate care Promote quality, safety, and patient satisfaction initiatives Option to support inpatient care depending on practice model Qualifications MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine Fellowship training or substantial experience in Obstetrics (FM-OB) preferred Eligible for Idaho medical licensure Current BLS and ACLS certifications (NRP preferred for OB providers) Demonstrated commitment to rural health and community engagement Preferred Skills & Experience Experience practicing in a rural or critical access hospital setting Competence in low-risk and moderate-risk obstetrics Surgical OB experience (C-sections) preferred but not required, depending on site Strong teamwork and communication skills Practice Environment Practice located at St. Luke's McCall Medical Center , a critical access hospital Support from regional specialists across St. Luke's Health System Balanced schedule with dedicated clinic and OB responsibilities Opportunity to build long-term relationships with patients and families Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary with productivity incentives Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance Student loan repayment options (if applicable) Comprehensive benefits package including:Medical, dental, vision Retirement plans with employer match Paid time off and CME allowance Malpractice insurance with tail coverage About McCall, Idaho McCall is a scenic mountain town located on the shores of Payette Lake , offering a high quality of life and year-round outdoor recreation: Skiing at Brundage Mountain Hiking, boating, fishing, and mountain biking Family-friendly community with excellent schools About St. Luke's Health System St. Luke's is Idaho's largest health system, known for its commitment to patient-centered care, clinical excellence, and provider support .
