Director, Client Engagement

As a Director, Client Engagement, you'll serve as a primary point of contact for one - two of our most critical client relationships. You'll own day-to-day client leadership while guiding account strategy, ensuring exceptional delivery, strong partnerships, and measurable business impact. Your ability to foster trust, align teams, and execute effectively will position you as a valued strategic partner to our clients.WHAT YOU'LL DOLead and nurture day-to-day client relationships to ensure satisfaction and long-term partnershipsAct as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring effective communication and alignment on project goalsCollaborate with strategy, design, technology, and production teams to deliver solutions that meet client expectations and drive business goalsPartner on overall account health, including quarterly and annual account planningTranslate client business goals into agency strategyAddress and resolve client issues promptly, ensuring a seamless client experiencePartner with your production lead to oversee scopes, budgets, and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and profitablySupport account growth by identifying opportunities to expand client relationships into new service areasAnticipate and resolve client challenges with clarity, urgency, and sound judgmentEnsure that all deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines set by the clientMaintain a comprehensive understanding of clients' business needs and industry trends to offer proactive advice and solutionsWHAT YOU'LL NEEDProven experience in account management with a focus on client satisfaction and relationship buildingStrong communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and foster collaborative discussionsAbility to proactively identify client needs and translate them into actionable, strategic solutionsExtensive experience in agency account management, digital product, brand strategy, or a related fieldComfortable with analytics, technology, content management platforms, and AI initiativesDemonstrated skill in leading teams and influencing others to achieve project successFinancial acumen, including experience managing growth pipelines, budgets, scopes, and account growthExperience supporting contract negotiationsABOUT USBorn in 2001, Code and Theory is a digital-first creative agency that sits at the center of creativity and technology.
