Assistant Project Manager

Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to support the planning, coordination, and execution of municipal infrastructure and construction projects.This role works closely with contractors, engineers, inspectors, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed efficiently, on time, and in compliance with technical and contractual requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport planning, coordination, and execution of infrastructure projectsReview project plans, specifications, and construction documentsCoordinate with contractors, engineers, and internal departmentsMonitor project progress and assist in resolving issuesAssist with permit reviews and ensure compliance with standardsConduct site inspections to verify adherence to project specificationsInterpret contracts and assist with budgetary controlsVerify and process progress paymentsAssist in negotiating contract changesExpedite responses to construction submittalsParticipate in meetings with stakeholders and project teams QualificationsEducation:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Business Administration, Physical Sciences, or a related fieldRelevant experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis Experience:Minimum of 2 years of experience in:ConstructionConstruction inspectionDesign, geotechnical, or environmental workOr a closely related field Required SkillsStrong communication (written and verbal)Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skillsAbility to review:SurveysFloor plansSite plansGIS or mapping systemsProficiency in:Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, TeamsAdobe Additional RequirementsValid Texas Driver's License requiredStrong customer service skills (phone, in-person, and email) Why Join This OpportunityFull-time, stable roleDay shift schedule (Monday-Friday)Opportunity to support large-scale infrastructure projectsCollaborative, team-oriented environment Apply Today
