APRN | Nurse Practitioner Full Time
Job Summary: Serve as a dedicated healthcare provider collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to deliver primary and women's health care. Work closely with sponsoring physicians and healthcare staff to ensure comprehensive patient care in a regional healthcare setting in the Midwest. Essential Responsibilities:Maintain accurate, clear, and legible medical records while demonstrating proficiency with clinic computer systems including billing and meaningful use.Manage time and supplies efficiently, support leadership in scheduling, and participate in cost-effective supply management.Coordinate patient care by utilizing community resources and assist patients in arranging continuity of care.Complete timely billing for services rendered.Confirm and establish medical diagnoses related to patient complaints; order, perform, and interpret laboratory and radiological tests; prescribe medications; and manage follow-up plans.Follow established protocols in collaboration with sponsoring physicians to ensure positive patient outcomes.Contribute to quality improvement by preparing and analyzing clinic data and educating colleagues through formal and informal teaching.When assigned as a lab technical consultant, assist in quality control programs and resolve technical issues to maintain testing integrity.Prioritize patient satisfaction by revising care plans based on patient input and clinical findings, providing education, counseling, and support.Represent the healthcare organization positively in community and hospital-sponsored events.Ensure patient safety by organizing and delegating care appropriately, assessing patients across all developmental stages, and adhering to agency policies.Conduct comprehensive health assessments including psychosocial and medical history, and manage care in collaboration with physicians and other professionals.Engage in professional growth through peer review, competency testing, continuing education, and constructive feedback.Exhibit excellent customer service, addressing ethical issues and fostering a respectful, compassionate environment for patients, visitors, and coworkers. Education and Experience:Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) required for new hires.Proficiency with computer systems is necessary.Area-specific education may be required and must be maintained. Licensure and Certifications:Current active Registered Nurse licensure by the state board.Certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) required for new hires. Work Schedule: Full-time, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 40 hours per week.
