Cost Accountant

Position: Cost AccountantLocation: Edwardsburg, MI (Onsite)About the Opportunity for a Cost Accountant:• Join a stable and growing manufacturing organization with a strong reputation in the South Bend area.• Work closely with operations and plant leadership to support data-driven decision making and improve financial visibility across production.• Opportunity to build strong manufacturing accounting experience while contributing to process improvements and operational efficiency.Overview of the Cost Accountant role:• Analyze manufacturing costs including labor, materials, and overhead to support accurate product costing.• Maintain and review inventory transactions including cycle counts, inventory adjustments, and reconciliations.• Prepare cost analysis reports, track variances, and support plant management with financial insights.• Assist with month-end close including journal entries, reconciliations, and inventory valuation.Preferred Qualifications for the Cost Accountant role:• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.• Experience with cost accounting or manufacturing accounting principles.• Strong Excel skills including pivot tables and data analysis.• ERP system experience preferred.Salary: $70,000–$85,000 annually depending on experience | Onsite in South Bend, Indiana#INMAR2026Click here to apply online
