Facility Custodian

Job Overview We are looking for a dedicated Facility Custodian to join our mine site to ensure our public spaces and key areas remain clean, organized, and safe. TEEMA is a staffing provider who proudly serves over 1,200 Clients across Canada, the United States and internationally. Camp Based: Delta Junction, Alaska Travel is ONLY provided from Fairbanks Alaska (candidates will need to incur the cost associated with travelling to Fairbanks) Key Responsibilities: As a Facility Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of various areas throughout our facility. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Public Space Maintenance: Clean and maintain high-traffic areas such as lobbies, hallways, dining areas, gyms, stairways, and walkways to create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all. Snow Removal: Ensure walkways are clear of snow, mud, and debris both inside and outside the buildings, keeping areas safe for movement in all weather conditions. Mine Worker Areas: Clean designated mine worker areas, including offices and washrooms, ensuring they meet the highest standards of cleanliness. Uniform Laundry Assistance: Assist with hanging up mine workers' uniforms to dry and maintain a tidy laundry area. General Cleaning Duties: Perform tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and restocking supplies to ensure all areas are fully equipped and spotless. Important Information: Set Rotational Schedule: The rotation for this position is 28 days on-site followed by 14 days off. This schedule is fixed and cannot be adjusted. Travel Details: Candidates must arrange and cover the cost of transportation to Fairbanks, Alaska. Travel from Fairbanks to the camp, located near Delta Junction (approximately a 3-hour drive), is provided but travel time is not compensated. Travel Days: Travel to and from the camp typically occurs on Mondays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays, depending on operational needs.
