Employment Type: Permanent | Full-Time | Four 10-Hour Days | Day Shift
Compensation: $350K - $385K+ per year
We are seeking an innovative and energetic Physician who enjoys professional autonomy and working with a supportive, caring group of healthcare professionals! You’ll join a growing Critical Access Hospital and Level IV Trauma Center in beautiful rural Eastern Oregon. You will play a key role in growing our behavioral health and primary care services.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and follow-up care for a diverse rural patient population
Oversee pharmacological treatments and monitor patient progress to ensure therapeutic efficacy and safety
Partner with Primary Care providers and Behavioral Health specialists to provide a "whole-patient" approach to health
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic mental health conditions (e.g., depression, anxiety, PTSD, and substance use disorders)
Serve as a subject matter expert for the behavioral health team, contributing to workforce training and the development of clinical protocols
Utilize Epic EMR for timely and accurate clinical charting
Provide consultation within the Level IV Trauma Center environment when psychiatric expertise is required for acute patient stabilization
Participate in community-based initiatives to reduce the stigma of mental health and improve access to care in the region
Qualifications
Medical Degree (MD) from an accredited school
Completion of an ACGME-accredited Residency in Psychiatry
Active, unrestricted State Medical License
Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Psychiatry
Strong skills and a commitment to providing high-quality care in a community-oriented environment
