Our culture is built on continuous learning, mentorship, and genuine support, providing ample opportunities to expand your skills alongside leaders in the industry.What You'll DoAs a Veterinary Technician Assistant - Radiology, you will play a key role in supporting the Radiology Service and ensuring the smooth coordination of imaging procedures. In this role, you will:Assist radiologists and technicians during imaging appointmentsPrepare and position patients safely for diagnostic proceduresOperate and assist with CT and ultrasound imaging under supervisionAssist with feline care within the I-131 serviceMaintain accurate medical records and imaging documentationCommunicate clearly and compassionately with clients and team membersSupport other hospital departments when Radiology tasks are completePerform general patient care, including restraint, walking dogs, laundry, and cage cleaningHelp maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked radiology and treatment areaUphold safety protocols and ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures We don't just get through the workday-we embrace the challenges and triumphs that come with providing specialty and emergency care. Anticipated ScheduleThis is a full-time position with the following available schedule:Tuesday: 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM, Wednesday 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Thursday 10:00AM - 8:00 PM, and Friday 8:00AM - 6:00PMCompensationStarts at $19.00/hr.
