Roofing Project Sales Manager

Project Sales ManagerPay: Commissions with OTE $100-150k 1st year, and $800/week stipend for first 90 daysLocation: Colorado Spring, COPosition OverviewWe are seeking a results-driven Project Sales Manager to lead business development and sales for our construction and roofing projects. The ideal candidate will combine strong sales acumen with project understanding to generate leads, develop quotes, manage client relationships, and close deals while coordinating with operations to ensure successful project closeout and customer satisfaction. This role focuses on prospecting, quoting, and negotiating contractsoften involving insurance-related workwhile collaborating with estimators, project managers, and field crews to deliver profitable, on-time projects.Key ResponsibilitiesProspect and generate new leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and digital outreach to build a robust pipeline of residential and commercial roofing and construction projects.Develop accurate, competitive quotes and proposals by coordinating with estimators and operations to reflect scope, materials, labor, and insurance considerations.Qualify opportunities and manage the sales process from initial contact through negotiation, contract execution, and project handover to maximize close rates and revenue.Work closely with customers, insurance adjusters, and internal teams to document damage, submit insurance claims, and navigate claim approvals where applicable.Maintain detailed records of sales activity, pipeline status, and customer interactions using CRM systems; forecast sales and report progress to leadership.Coordinate with project managers and field teams to ensure smooth project start-up, monitor progress, and support timely closeout and customer satisfaction.Attend job site visits and inspections as needed to support estimations, clarify scope, and strengthen client relationships.Develop and implement targeted lead-generation campaigns and referral programs to grow market share within assigned territories.Negotiate terms, pricing, and scope changes while protecting margins and ensuring compliance with company policies and contractual obligations.Provide post-close follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction, manage punch list, and resolve any warranty or closeout issues promptly.Qualifications2+ years of sales experience in construction, roofing, or related trades with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.Demonstrated experience with quoting and proposal preparation, including familiarity with roofing materials, scopes of work, and estimating principles.Proven ability to generate leads through cold calling, networking, and digital outreach, and to convert prospects into signed contracts.Experience working with insurance claims, adjusters, and documentation processes preferred.Strong negotiation and closing skills with a focus on maintaining margins and long-term customer relationships.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable with site visits and customer-facing interactions.Familiarity with CRM systems and sales reporting; organized with strong follow-up and record-keeping habits.Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to job sites and client meetings within the assigned territory.BenefitsMedical, dental and vision insurancePaid time off401k with company matchGas cardCompany vehicle
