Location:Palo Alto, 100% onsite - Monday to Friday, 8-5 or 9-6Salary Range:Competitive, with potential for overtime upon manager approval.IntroductionJoin our team as a Hardware Validation Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of our cutting-edge hardware systems. You'll work closely with design teams to validate and enhance our products throughout their lifecycle.Required Skills & QualificationsBS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.6 years of experience in automotive or consumer electronics, focusing on electronics design and development.Strong background in Silicon-level validation and ECU component testing.Proficient in automotive communication protocols: CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, and Flexray.Working knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 requirements for testing labs.Hands-on experience with bench-level testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, and digital multimeters.Proficiency in JIRA and JAMA for requirement management.Ability to interpret complex electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.Preferred Skills & QualificationsLabView, Test Stand, and CAPL programming skills.Experience in continuous improvement and managing "Lessons Learned" repositories.Collaborative communicator capable of working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary validation partner for HW/SW design teams, providing centralized testing services.Develop comprehensive test plans, cases, and environmental strategies (DVP&R).Collaborate with design teams to build specialized test scripts and hardware fixtures (HIL/Bench).Plan and execute Durability, Electrical, and Functional validation for component-level ECUs.Validate Silicon-level performance within the ECU environment, focusing on power integrity, thermal boundaries, and signal analysis.Lead root cause investigations for test failures, using data reproduction and fault simulation.Provide advanced data analytics to drive design improvements and ensure compliance with Component Technical Specifications (CTS).Maintain and enhance technical templates and ensure a unified validation approach across the engineering organization.Establish and manage end-to-end traceability between requirements and test results using JAMA, JIRA, and version control systems.Company Benefits & CultureOpportunities for professional growth and development.Collaborative and innovative work environment.Comprehensive benefits package.For immediate consideration please click APPLY to begin the screening process with Alex.
