Job Description Job Title: Quality Engineering ManagerLocation: Addison, ILPay Range: $90K-$98K (Depending on Skills and Experience)Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance. 401(k)Brilliant Financial Staffing has been engaged in a search for a Quality Engineering Manager for our client, a well-established and growing manufacturing organization located in Addison, IL. Founded in 1991, this family-oriented company serves the on- and off-road vehicle industries by supplying electro-mechanical components and value-added system solutions across North America.This is a newly created position designed to build and formalize the Quality Engineering function as the company continues to grow. The Quality Engineering Manager will play a highly visible, hands-on role in product launch, validation, and manufacturing quality. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong, “active” leader who enjoys being on the manufacturing floor—not just managing from a desk.Quality Engineering Manager Responsibilities:Lead and coordinate quality initiatives across 10–14 cross-functional team members (1 direct report)Act as primary project manager for quality-related initiatives from quote through production launchMaintain strong floor presence—support pull-force testing, part measurement, and hands-on validation effortsGuide APQP, PPAP, validation, and production process launchesInterpret and review engineering drawings to ensure compliance and manufacturabilityAnalyze manufacturing data to drive cost-effective tooling and process decisionsSupport product launches within wire harness and light industrial assembly environmentsOversee Quality Department planning and development (personnel, facilities, and budget)Manage quality documentation including PPAPs, NCRs, CARs, and client specificationsCollaborate with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and external customers/vendorsEnsure compliance with ISO 9001 standards (experience with AIAG, IATF preferred)Participate in safety activities, audits, and continuous improvement initiativesTravel domestically (5–6x/year) and internationally (1–2x/year) as neededRequired Qualifications:Leadership & ManagementProven experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment (5–20 individuals)Strong project coordination and cross-functional leadership skillsHands-on leadership style with active involvement in production and metrology environmentsTechnical SkillsBachelor’s degree in Engineering or technical field (or equivalent experience)Engineering background with strong understanding of manufacturing processesWire harnessing or light vehicle-related manufacturing experience highly preferredStrong ability to read and interpret engineering drawingsFamiliarity with metrology tools and softwareWorking knowledge of MATLABProficiency in Microsoft Office or Google WorkspaceIf you or anyone you know is qualified and interested, please apply ASAP!Brilliant Staffing, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer and encourages applications from all individuals regardless of race, color, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or veteran status.Company DescriptionBrilliant is an award-winning direct-hire, contract and consulting practice specializing in accounting, finance and technology for the Midwest and Southeast regions of the U.S. Many of Brilliant’s team members include former accounting, finance and technology professionals who are experts in the fields.Company DescriptionBrilliant is an award-winning direct-hire, contract and consulting practice specializing in accounting, finance and technology for the Midwest and Southeast regions of the U.S. Many of Brilliant’s team members include former accounting, finance and technology professionals who are experts in the fields.
