Production Manager to lead our production department, oversee day-to-day operations, and help scale a fast-growing wide format division built around quality, efficiency, accountability, and craftsmanship.This role is ideal for someone with deep industry experience who understands both the technical and operational side of wide format production — someone who can lead a team, solve problems quickly, maintain high production standards, and create a culture focused on execution and continuous improvement.WHAT YOU'LL DO:Leadership, execution, and operational excellence.Production Leadership & OperationsManage all day-to-day wide format production operationsOversee printing, finishing, laminating, mounting, routing, packaging, and production workflowLead and support production staff, installers, and apprenticesEstablish and maintain production schedules to ensure deadlines are metPrioritize jobs and allocate resources efficiently across equipment and personnelMonitor throughput, productivity, utilization, and operational efficiencyEnsure production standards, consistency, and quality expectations are maintained across all projectsEquipment & Technical Oversight:Oversee operation and maintenance of wide format production equipmentTroubleshoot production issues, color challenges, material problems, and workflow bottlenecksEnsure proper machine maintenance schedules and preventative care procedures are followedMaintain knowledge of substrates, vinyls, laminates, inks, finishing techniques, and production best practicesWork closely with vendors and service providers when technical issues ariseQuality Control & Process Management:Own quality control throughout the production processDevelop and enforce production workflows, SOPs, and operational standardsIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and streamline processesEnsure projects are completed accurately, consistently, and on timeReview files, proofs, color expectations, and production specifications before releaseTeam Leadership & Development:Train, mentor, and develop production staffBuild a culture focused on accountability, teamwork, quality, and continuous improvementHelp recruit, onboard, and develop future production talentFoster a positive, solution-oriented production environmentLead by example through professionalism, urgency, organization, and executionCross-Department Collaboration:Work closely with account management, creative, estimating, purchasing, and installation teamsHelp identify production solutions during project planning and quotingCommunicate timelines, challenges, and production updates proactivelySupport client-facing conversations when technical expertise is requiredWHAT YOU BRING:10+ years of experience in wide format printing, signage, graphics, or print productionProven leadership experience managing production teams and workflowsDeep understanding of wide format printing equipment, materials, and finishing processesStrong knowledge of color management, print quality, and production standardsExperience with vinyl applications, rigid substrates, retail graphics, displays, and signage productionAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneouslyStrong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsHands-on leadership style with a willingness to jump in when neededAbility to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and production qualityExperience building operational efficiencies and improving workflowsPREFERRED EXPERIENCE:Experience with Client Latex, EFI, Canon, or similar wide format production equipmentKnowledge of RIP software, file preparation, and production workflowsExperience with CNC routing, cutting systems, laminators, and finishing equipmentFamiliarity with retail graphics, environmental branding, POP/POS displays, and installation preparationUnderstanding of inventory management,
