Commercial Electrical Estimator Location: Atlanta MetroCompensation: depending on qualifications and experienceEmployment Type: Full-Time, On-SiteAbout the RoleA well-established electrical contracting firm is seeking a highly experienced Commercial Electrical Estimator with strong design-build expertise. This position requires someone who can immediately step into a fast-paced environment and produce accurate, complete electrical estimates from conceptual narratives or schematic information.This is a hands-on estimating role for an experienced professional who thrives on precision, communication, and delivering results under tight timelines.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed design-build electrical estimates from narratives, square footage, and conceptual drawingsDevelop complete electrical designs and pricing proposals independentlyManage multiple bid deadlines and client requests in a fast-paced environmentReview specifications, drawings, and addenda to ensure all requirements are capturedCollaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to ensure estimates align with field conditions and client expectationsUtilize Electrical Bid Manager (EBM) or equivalent software at a high level of proficiencyCommunicate effectively and professionally with clients, vendors, and internal teamsQualifications3+ years of experience in electrical estimating, preferably in commercial and light industrial projectsProven expertise in design-build estimating - able to produce complete electrical scope from limited informationElectrical Bid Manager (EBM) or equivalent estimating softwareStrong field background and real-world understanding of electrical installationsAbility to thrive in high-pressure, deadline-driven environmentsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsConsistent work history - stable tenure preferred (no job-hoppers)Humble, professional attitude and team-oriented mindsetCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary401(k)Paid Time Off (PTO)Health insuranceCompany vehicleOccasional travel required (not extensive)Work EnvironmentFocused on commercial and light industrial projectsOn-site position - remote work is not availableSupportive team culture that values integrity, professionalism, and hands-on experienceHow to ApplyQualified candidates are encouraged to submit a detailed resume highlighting their estimating experience, design-build project history, and proficiency with estimating software.Cell:Email:Equal Opportunity EmployerThis employer is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
