Full Stack Developer

Job title: Software Developer - Full StackLocation: San Francisco, CADuration: 12+ months  Job Description:We are looking for a talented full-stack engineer with expertise in building scalable web applications. As a full-stack engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the front end and back end of our web applications. Responsibilities:·        Collaborate with the product management and design teams to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience·        Develop new user-facing features using React.js - Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use·        Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs - Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability -·        Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders - Develop and maintain microservices architecture for the back end ·        Design, develop, and deploy back-end services and APIs - Work with the infrastructure and DevOps teams to ensure the scalability and reliability of the backend services·        Participate in code reviews and contribute to a high standard of code qualityRequirements:·        Strong proficiency in JavaScript and React.js·        Experience with popular React.js workflows and state management libraries (such as Redux, MobX, Flux)·        Experience with microservices architecture and building scalable backend services using Node.js, Python, or other relevant technologies·        Experience with server-side frameworks such as Express.js, Flask, or similar - Good understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3·        Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them·        Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools·        Familiarity with RESTful APIs - Experience with version control systems such as Git - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is a plus·        Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to take on new challenges·        Participates in the technical design of application systems. Develops and implements application systems by participating through the software development lifecycle from inception to delivery and beyond.·        The role is high touch position with a notable amount of collaboration across product teams and stakeholders to define requirements and understand how they fit into the end objective.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:·        Designs and writes complex code in several languages relevant to our existing product stack, with a focus on automation·        Configures, tunes, maintains and installs applications systems and validates system functionality·        Installs new software releases and application system upgrades. Evaluates and installs software patches·        Monitors and fine tunes applications system to achieve optimum performance levels and works with hardware teams to resolve issues with hardware and software·        Assists with application system problem resolution by working with application developers, vendors, and internal infrastructure team’s member to troubleshoot·        Addresses product backlog and provide continuous delivery of high-quality features·        Maintains a comprehensive operating system hardware and software configuration database/library of all supporting documentation to ensure data integrity·        Acts to improve the overall reliability of systems and to increase efficiency·        Works collaboratively with cross functional teams, using Agile / DevOps principles to bring products to life, achieve business objectives and serve customer needs
