Assistant Professor Headache Neurologist position

Job Description Job Opportunity: Fellowship-Trained NeurologistOur organization is actively seeking a full-time, fellowship-trained physician who is either board-certified or board-eligible to join the newly established Headache Center within the Department of Neurology. We are looking for candidates who are passionate and innovative, eager to contribute to the advancement of headache care, research, and education at one of the leading academic institutions in the United States.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a dedicated outpatient headache medicine practice.Provide clinical care and perform procedures such as onabotulinumtoxinA injections, trigger point injections, and nerve blocks.Utilize advanced headache care options through both outpatient and inpatient infusion therapies.Collaborate with various specialties, including neuro-ophthalmology, sleep medicine, cognitive neurology, neurosurgery, psychology, and psychiatry.Engage in opportunities for career advancement in clinical education, research, and inpatient headache management.QualificationsA medical degree (MD or DO) is required, with a preference for board certification in Neurology.Possession of a Georgia medical license or the ability to obtain one is essential.Subspecialty training and/or certification in headache medicine is mandatory.Working ConditionsThis role offers a supportive environment with competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.
