Production Machinist

Job Description POSITION SUMMARY Quality Machine in Paulina is currently hiring an experienced Production Machinist. This position is ideal for a skilled machinist with strong hands-on experience in a job-shop environment. We offer top pay based on experience and a clean, climate-controlled shop. The role focuses primarily on new production work using modern manual equipment.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES · Produce precision standalone machine work on manual equipment, including lathes, mills, drill presses, and horizontal and vertical boring mills· Operate Kingston manual lathes equipped with DRO systems· Interpret and work from blueprints, sketches, and technical drawings· Perform machining related to mechanical fundamentals, fabrication, and repair of rotating equipment· Maintain machinery, tooling, and work areas while following all safety procedures· Accurately use precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, dial indicators, and depth gauges· Consistently produce high-quality parts, primarily for new production jobsPOSITION QUALIFICATIONS · Prior experience as a manual machinist in a job-shop or production environment· Proven ability to work within tight tolerances, including bearing housings and shaft work· Experience selecting and applying proper tooling for various machining operations· Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and accuracy· Dependable, self-motivated, and demonstrates an excellent work ethic Full time position.
