Project Engineer - HVAC

Ring & DuChateau is a collaborative team of 90+ engineers, designers, technicians and support staff dedicated to engineering design and service excellence. We have immediate openings for HVAC Project Engineers within our Mechanical Building Systems (HVAC) department located in Brookfield, WI or Madison, WI. We are looking for team members who will provide exceptional service to our clients. Experience in healthcare is a plus.Our staff are educated and aware, with an in-depth of experience that runs the gamut of project size and complexity. By focusing on clear and effective communication with our project owners and partners, we foster a truly collaborative design process that delivers excellence and keeps clients returning to Ring & DuChateau to meet their building systems design needs.The successful candidate will:Perform HVAC engineering design calculations, technical comparisons and similar technical work as directed. Prepares studies and reports to evaluate systems and options.Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering concepts and procedures.Review drawings supplied by vendors and clients and provide the appropriate engineering solution to incorporate the design.Prepare complete construction documents that match the client and project team's requirements.Coordinate design with other disciplines.Review shop drawings under the supervision of the Project Engineer or Project Manager.Recommend changes or modifications to projects as appropriateRespond to RFI's and prepare CB's under supervision.Conduct job site surveys, field observations and develop project punch lists under supervision.Coordinate project assignments with other engineers and technicians in the same department.Delegate work tasks to Designers and BIM Technicians.Draw and design simultaneously on complex projects.Research code issues and document findings and reports to supervision engineer.Interact with clients as level of experience progresses.Assist with technical studies and assessments.Perform other duties as assigned.You will need:Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent combination of education and/or experience5+ years of experience with an engineering consulting firm or an A I E firm preferredProfessional license preferredExperience in healthcare projects is a plusWorking knowledge using the latest version of Revit, Bluebeam, as well as Microsoft office Suite of productsAbility to organize and plan efficiently and manage multiple tasks.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Ring & DuChateau prides itself on our employee centric culture which supports the interests, goals and needs of our employees.
