Bandsaw Operator

WorkSource is seeking a Bandsaw Operator this position requires hands-on experience with carpentry, construction, and woodworking. The ideal candidate will have the ability to cut materials accurately, maintain a steady pace, and produce quality work in a production environment. This position is located in Greenwood, AR.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Operate a bandsaw to cut wood materials accurately and safelyMeasure, mark, and cut materials according to specificationsEnsure straight, precise cuts while maintaining production paceInspect materials for quality and accuracyMaintain a clean and organized work areaFollow all company safety policies and proceduresAssist with other shop or production duties as neededQualifications:Previous carpentry, construction, or woodworking experience requiredAbility to cut straight and maintain consistencyComfortable working with tools and machineryStrong attention to detailAbility to lift up to 50 lbs as neededDependable with good attendanceAbility to work overtime when requiredWork Environment:Manufacturing/shop environmentExposure to wood materials, dust, and machineryMust follow all PPE and safety guidelinesWhy WorkSource?WorkSource is dedicated to improving the lives of our applicants and customers, one job at a time.
