Senior Computed Tomography Scan Technologist MSMH

Facility: Mount St. Mary's Hospital Shift: Shift 1 Status: Full Time FTE: Bargaining Unit: SEIU Local 1199 Exempt from Overtime: Exempt: No Work Schedule: Days and Evenings with Call Weekend and Holiday Rotation Hours: Primary 7a-3p, 7:30a-3:30p, 8a-4p, 9:30a-5:30p. Secondary 2p-10p, 3p-11p, 11p-7a. On call holiday and weekend rotation required. Days and hours to vary. Varied start time, may rotate to offsite to locations Summary: Assists in managing the CT Scan department’s daily operations and provides computerized assisted tomographic services as ordered. Performs diagnostic radiographs and images. Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation as appropriate to the ages of the patients served, based on the area of clinical practice. May be assigned off-site. Mount St. Mary’s Hospital consists of multiple locations and associate may be assigned as needed Responsibilities: EDUCATION CT Certification required upon hire Post High School Vocational/Specialized Training required Current NYS License in Radiologic Technology required Current NYS intravenous contrast administration certification required BLS at time of placement Accredited Program in Radiologic Technology required EXPERIENCE Three (3) years in CT Scan Technology required Three (3) to Five (5 ) years CT Scan experience preferred Supervisory experience preferred KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY ExcellEnt human relations and oral/written communications skills Answers Telephone Compile Statistics Computer Maintain Filing System Schedule Appointments Diagnostic Equipment Fax Personal Computer
