Role DescriptionThis is an as needed, on-site role for a skateboarding and scooter Instructors located in Hillsboro, OR. The Instructor will be responsible for teaching skating/scooter skills to riders of various ages and skill levels, but primarily to youth. Responsibilities include planning and conducting lessons or practice sessions based on a loose curriculum of progressive tricks and techniques, demonstrating techniques, and providing feedback to improve the riders performance. Additionally, instructors will need to ensure the safety of participants, and promote a positive and engaging learning environment.QualificationsProficiency in your chosen sportCoaching and Training skills to effectively guide learners a big plusStrong Communication skills to clearly instruct and engage participantsAbility to maintain a safe and inclusive environmentExperience working with children or managing group activities is a plus
