Maintenance Intern

Our apartment communities located in the East Lansing and metro Detroit area are currently looking for "ROCKSTAR" Maintenance interns.The Maintenance Internship position is designed to provide experience in special projects for Peak Management's portfolio of residential properties.Experiences May Include: Assist with cabinet and counter top installsDeck/balcony, door repairPipe solderingRepair of faucets and fixturesReplacement and repair of appliancesElectrical workLight Carpentry Painting Renovation demo workQualifications:Strong interest in the trades and or in building construction/repair Natural mechanical ability Experience with general power tools Enjoys working with their hands and repairing things (previous woodworking a plus) Great work ethic and attitudeProficient verbal and written communication skills Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods standing and walkingMust be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spacesMust be able to lift up to 75 pounds at a timeCore ValuesIn order to achieve success, the Peak Management team must embrace certain core principles and values:Positive People that Make it Happen!I Can & I WillI CareNo DramaKeep Climbing
