Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and classroom activitiesProvide one-on-one and small group support to studentsHelp students develop early literacy, math, and social skillsParticipation in religious activities, school Mass, and prayer servicesSupport the integration of Catholic teachings and values into daily instructionParticipate in prayer, religious activities, and liturgical celebrations with studentsModel Christian values such as kindness, respect, compassion, and responsibilityPrepare instructional materials and organize classroom resourcesSupervise students during classroom activities, recess, lunch, and transitionsSupport classroom management and reinforce positive behavior strategies aligned with Catholic valuesAssist with assessing student progress and documenting observationsHelp maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environmentCommunicate effectively with teachers, staff, and families QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent (Associate/ Bachelor Degree or course work in Education preferred)Experience working with young children, preferably in a schoolBasic knowledge of early childhood development principlesUnderstanding of and respect for the mission of Catholic educationWillingness to support and model Catholic teachings and practicesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsPatience, flexibility, and a positive attitudeAbility to work collaboratively as part of a team Compensation: Gross salary for 40 hours a week for 37 weeks is $32,560 - $41,440 This role comes with a full benefit package that includes medical, dental, vision and 401K.Interested parties apply through AppliTrack, and also send a cover letter and resume to mwingard@saintgeorgeseattle.orgMonica Wingard, Principal5117 13th Ave SouthSeattle, WA 98108206-762-0656
