Litigation Associate

Job Summary:We are seeking an intellectually curious and highly motivated Associate Attorney to join our Litigation, Appellate, and Third-Party Insurance practice. The ideal candidate is a strong writer, sharp thinker, and skilled advocate who thrives in a fast-paced environment handling complex legal issues. This role involves substantive work in litigation strategy, motion practice, appellate briefing, and insurance-related disputes. Candidates should have excellent analytical abilities, strong research and writing skills, and a genuine interest in sophisticated legal advocacy.Key Responsibilities:Draft formal letters in response to opposing counsel’s objections with clarity, professionalism, and persuasive reasoning.Draft formal correspondence memorializing meet and confer discussions in a legally sound and organized manner.Conduct in-depth legal research on relevant case law, statutes, and procedural rules; summarize and present findings in a clear, concise format.Draft substantive motions including:Motions to CompelMotions for Status ConferenceMotions to Amend Case Management OrdersMotions under Rule 30(b)(6) including those related to deposition notices or enforcementCollaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop litigation strategy and ensure timely and accurate filings.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of procedural rules and case law developments affecting current litigation.Assist in preparing for hearings, depositions, and trial-related matters as needed.Qualifications:J.D. from an accredited law school.Admission to the Florida Bar and in good standing.2–5 years of litigation experience in a law firm or similar legal setting.Demonstrated ability to draft complex legal documents with minimal supervision.Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to present findings in a strategic, practical, and client-focused manner.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.Experience with case management systems and legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis).Preferred:Experience in civil litigation and familiarity with federal and/or state court procedures.Prior experience supporting depositions, discovery, and pretrial motions.How to Apply: Please submit your resume, cover letter, and a recent writing sample to [Insert Application .
