Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. This contract opportunity is set in a smaller, welcoming district in the northern suburbs of Denver, serving around 7,000 students across 16 sites. You'll collaborate with supportive staff in a mild-to-moderate classroom environment, managing a caseload of 40-50 students at a single location.Your primary focus will be delivering high-quality speech and language services, implementing individualized education plans, and working alongside dedicated special education teams. Whether you're a new graduate or a seasoned SLP, leadership is excited to support professionals at any stage of their career.Qualifications and Desired Experience:Master's degree in Speech-Language PathologyValid CCC-SLP certification (consideration for those in process of obtaining Colorado Department of Education (CDE) credential; be prepared to share your progress)Previous school-based experience preferred but not requiredStrong collaboration and communication skillsAbility to organize and maintain comprehensive documentationResponsibilities:Evaluate and assess students across K-8 for speech and language needsDevelop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plansCollaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teamsEngage in IEP meetings and maintain compliance with district and state guidelinesDeliver services on-site (note: this district does not accommodate hybrid/teletherapy models)You'll experience a thorough but supportive interview process, including a brief Teams screening followed by a panel interview—either on-site or virtually for your convenience. The director is especially available for initial discussions on Mondays and Fridays.
