Quality Control Associate

Quality Control Associate located in Cleveland, OH 44125 (Onsite). Details for the position are as follows:Contract to Start, conversion/extension on performanceShift Schedule: Monday - Friday, 40hrs./weekPay Rate: $20 - 26/Hour (W2, Biweekly)Job Description:Work closely with department supervisor and Team Leads to ensure that departmental tasks are completed on time.Follow all safety requirements and refer to MSDS for PPE and other safety guidance.Practice proper laboratory safety and waste disposal.Perform testing per documented procedure.Able to recognize out-of-spec (OOS) results and initiate OOS investigation.Pays attention to detail and brings issues to Team Lead(s) or Supervisor's attention.Has the ability to take on smaller projects/reoccurring tasks with minimal oversight.Demonstrate Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and Data Integrity Principles.Knowledge of the chemistry and instrumentation for the following analysis: FT-IR, pH, Moisture content via Karl Fischer, Specific Rotation, Auto-titrations and other wet chemistry analysis.Compendial knowledge and testing experience: United States Pharmacopeia, European Pharmacopeia, and/or Japanese Pharmacopeia. Qualifications:Bachelor Degree with some industry experience preferred, or Associate Degree with 2+ years of industry experienceChemistry Skillset (i.e., Titrations, pH, Karl Fisher, FTIR, etc.)Compendia Knowledge/Experience, Preferred (i.e., US Pharmacopeia, etc.)
