Database Architect

About the Role Innovative Tech Solutions Inc is looking for a talented Database Architect to join our growing team in Woodlyn, MD! In this critical role, you’ll design and optimize the data infrastructure that powers our cutting-edge technology products. If you’re passionate about building scalable, high-performance database systems, we want to hear from you.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain enterprise-level database architectures and data modelsEvaluate and implement database technologies including relational, NoSQL, and cloud-based solutionsOptimize database performance through query tuning, indexing strategies, and schema designCollaborate with software engineers and stakeholders to define data requirements and solutionsEstablish and enforce database standards, best practices, and governance policiesLead database migration, integration, and modernization initiativesMonitor database health, security, and disaster recovery planningRequirements5+ years of experience in database architecture, design, or administrationProficiency in SQL and experience with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQLExperience with cloud database platforms (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Google Cloud Spanner)Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing conceptsFamiliarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, or DynamoDBExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferredAbout Us Innovative Tech Solutions Inc is a forward-thinking technology company dedicated to delivering powerful, reliable software solutions to clients across industries.
