Pharmacist - Mckeesport, PA

A retail pharmacy is seeking a part-time Staff Pharmacist to support their team with 20-24 hours per week, including vacation coverage. This role provides the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a fast-paced retail environment, filling approximately 300 prescriptions daily.Location:Mckeesport, PA (Retail Setting) Schedule:Monday to Friday, Pharmacy hours 9:00 AM to 6:00 PMShift options: 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM or 11:00 AM to 6:00 PMPeak hours typically 9:00 to 11:00 AM and 4:00 to 6:00 PM Key Responsibilities:Accurately filling and dispensing prescriptions in alignment with legal and professional standardsProviding exceptional patient counseling and medication therapy management during high-volume periodsCollaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomesMaintaining detailed pharmacy records using Pioneer Rx softwareManaging inventory and assuring compliance with pharmacy policies and state regulations Qualifications and Experience:Licensed pharmacist eligible to practice in the statePrevious retail pharmacy experience strongly preferredProficiency with Pioneer Rx system is a plusStrong organizational skills with attention to detail in a busy environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsThis opportunity suits a pharmacist who thrives in a busy retail dispensing setting and is looking for a part-time schedule with some flexibility.
