RN - Inpatient Care Specialist
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our inpatient services team in a regional healthcare facility located in the Midwest. This role involves delivering comprehensive patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will coordinate patient education and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high standards of nursing practice. Essential Job Functions Provide skilled nursing care to assigned patients with attention to physical, psychological, spiritual, and social needs. Assess and document patient conditions upon admission and throughout their stay. Establish treatment priorities based on medical and nursing diagnoses. Develop, implement, and adjust individualized interdisciplinary care plans involving patients and their families. Utilize available resources and consult with physicians, supervisors, and other healthcare professionals as needed. Continuously reassess and document patient status and responses to interventions. Administer medications and IV therapy safely and accurately. Educate patients and families about disease processes and treatment plans in an understandable manner. Organize workload efficiently to provide timely care. Communicate effectively with the healthcare team regarding patient status and care plans. Maintain reliable attendance and meet physical demands of the role. Education Associate degree or higher in Nursing or a related field from an accredited institution. Experience and Requirements Current Registered Nurse licensure valid for practice in the regional state. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) according to American Heart Association standards. Completion of Mandatory Reporter training within six months of hire. Compliance with all federal, state, and professional licensure and regulatory training requirements. This position offers full-time hours with day and night shifts available, including shift differentials for second and third shifts. A sign-on bonus is also offered to qualified candidates.
