This role ensures the integrity of financial data, maintains strong vendor and employee relationships, and contributes to an efficient, well- controlled accounting environment.This position plays a key role in maintaining trust across the organization by ensuring employees are paid accurately, vendors are paid on time, and financial records are complete and reliable.What You Will Be DoingProcess and verify payroll accurately and on schedule, ensuring employees are paid correctly and on timeMaintain payroll records including earnings, deductions, tax withholdings, and benefit changesRespond promptly and professionally to employee payroll inquiries to maintain trust and transparencyReview, code, and process vendor invoices and employee expense reports accuratelyPrepare and process vendor payments including checks, ACH, and wires in accordance with payment termsReconcile the accounts payable subledger to the general ledger and resolve discrepanciesMonitor accounts payable aging and ensure vendors are paid within agreed termsSupport month-end close activities including journal entries, accruals, and documentationMaintain organized financial records and supporting documentation for audit readinessRecord customer payments and complete bank reconciliations in a timely and accurate mannerWhat Success Looks LikeSuccess in this role is measured by accuracy, timeliness, organization, and trust.100% on-time payroll processingZero payroll errorsAll payroll reconciliations completed accurately and on scheduleEmployees receive timely and professional responses to questionsVendors are paid accurately and within agreed termsMonth-End close tasks completed on scheduleAll cash receipts recorded weekly and accuratelyBank reconciliations completed monthly with no lingering reconciling itemsReliable, consistent, and trusted by accounting leadershipViewed internally as dependable and detail-orientedSkills & QualificationsAssociate degree in Accounting or related field (or equivalent experience)2+ years of accounts payable and/or payroll experienceStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsProficiency with Excel and accounting systemsAbility to manage deadlines and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentHigh level of integrity and ability to handle confidential informationOur Company Values We Hope You ShowcaseSee it, Solve it, Get it DoneBuild, Adapt, WinUnwavering Customer ObsessionWhat Kenect Offers!Health, Dental, Vision, Life & Disability InsuranceYour birthday is a paid day offOnsite gymBreakroom full of snacks and drinksConvenient location next to freeway entrance/exitWe believe in hiring self-motivated team members who can run alongside us without needing to be “managed” along the way.
