Job Summary:7 17 Credit Union is seeking a strategic and analytical leader to oversee our financial planning, reporting, and analysis functions. This role provides direction for key financial initiatives, ensuring accurate reporting, insightful analysis, and effective planning to support the credit union’s financial goals.The ideal candidate will work closely with the Chief Executive Officer and Senior Leadership Team while playing a key role in the development and execution of the organization’s Strategic Plan.*Please note, this position will be on-site at our Warren, Ohio location*Key Responsibilities:Financial PlanningLead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with financial goalsDevelop cost center budgets and allocation strategies across all branches and departmentsDrive financial strategies that support organizational objectives and operational efficiencyConduct quarterly forecasts for income statement and balance sheet performancePartner with external vendors on multi-year financial modeling and scenario planningReportingOversee preparation and distribution of financial reports for internal and external stakeholdersCoordinate enterprise-wide reporting for leadership and the Board of DirectorsProvide analysis and interpretation of financial data to support decision-makingDevelop and monitor KPIs and performance metrics tied to the Strategic PlanAnalyze pricing strategies, peer comparisons, and product yield performanceEnsure timely reporting across all operational areas, including lending, deposits, and branch performanceAnalyticsLead monthly P&L analysis, including budget vs. actuals, forecasts, and prior year comparisonsConduct variance analysis on revenue, margins, and operating expensesPerform ad-hoc financial modeling and scenario analysisEvaluate product, branch, and market profitability, as well as ROI on initiativesProvide financial insights on loan and deposit pricing strategiesRegulatory ComplianceEnsure compliance with all applicable regulatory standards and reporting requirementsMonitor regulatory changes and adapt financial processes as neededLeadership & CollaborationManage, mentor, and develop a team of financial professionalsSet goals, provide coaching, and conduct performance evaluationsOversee staffing needs, including hiring and onboardingPartner cross-functionally to align financial priorities with organizational goalsStrategic PlanningContribute to the development and execution of the credit union’s Strategic PlanSupport research, analysis, and evaluation of corporate initiativesProvide financial guidance to senior leadershipQualifications7 17 Credit Union is seeking a strategic and analytical leader to oversee our financial planning, reporting, and analysis functions. financial planning, reporting, and analysis (financial institution experience preferred)Proven leadership and team management experienceAdvanced analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skillsStrong communication skills with the ability to present financial data to leadership Additional Information:This position manages one or more team members within the departmentAll positions at 7 17 Credit Union may be assigned additional duties as needed Qualifications & RequirementsEducationBachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field (required)Advanced degree such as MBA, CFA, or CPA (strongly preferred)ExperienceMinimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning, reporting, and analysis within the financial services industry (credit union or banking experience preferred)Progressive leadership/management experience required for Director or VP-level candidatesExperience preparing reports and presenting complex financial concepts to senior leadership, including CEO and Board of DirectorsStrong knowledge of financial institution accounting standards and regulatory requirementsTitle and compensation will be aligned with experience,
