This job works independently to influence the quality and effectiveness of compensation processes. They analyze compensation data and best practices to recommend improvements. The Sr Analyst addresses complex compensation issues outside defined processes and supports the implementation of pay-for-performance programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Essential Responsibilities: Collaborate with internal teams to influence the quality and effectiveness of compensation processes and programs. Analyze compensation data and best practices to recommend improvements and alternative solutions. Oversee team performance and prioritize work related to compensation initiatives. Work independently to address complex compensation issues outside of defined processes. Support the implementation of pay-for-performance compensation programs. Minimum Qualifications: 3+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience. Additional Responsibilities & Preferred Qualifications : Deliver real-time market intelligence through advanced analytics and modeling to track alignment to market Provide analytical rigor for pay structure design, base pay funding, and deployment strategy Leverage AI tools as an active partner accelerating market analysis, surfacing insights faster, and scaling analytical output without sacrificing depth or accuracy. 5+ years in compensation analysis or a quantitative analytical role Advanced data visualization and insight storytelling (Power BI, Tableau) Expert Excel financial/data modeling and scenario analysis Knowledge of compensation market and regulatory frameworks Python, SQL, or R a plus CCP designation a plus Subsidiary: PayPal Travel Percent: 0 The base pay for this role will depend on where you work and the relevant experience and expertise you bring. The expected range of pay for this role by location is: Primary Location | Pay Range: Chicago, Illinois | ($89,000.00 - $127,600.00 Annually) Additional Location(s) | Pay Range: Austin, Texas | ($89,000.00 - $127,600.00 Annually) Scottsdale, Arizona | ($84,500.00 - $121,000.00 Annually) Additional compensation for this role may include an annual performance bonus, equity, or other incentive compensation, as applicable.
