CFO | Construction & Service | Private Equity-BackedWe’re looking for a strong Controller— not just a financial reporter.Our client, a growing private equity-backed platform in the construction and service space, is seeking a hands-on Controller who can move seamlessly from the field to the boardroom.This leader will partner directly with the CFO, executive team, and PE sponsors to drive value creation, operational discipline, and scalable growth.What We Need:Proven Controller or Big 4 Manager ready to make the move into CorporateDirect background in Construction or Construction Clients preferred Private Equity-backed company experience is requiredLeader comfortable from field operations to boardroomStrong command of job costing, WIP/CIP accounting, working capital, and multi-location operationsExperience building forecasting models and delivering board-level reportingComfortable working with field teams, branch managers, and senior executives alikeStrategic + hands-on operatorsThis is a growth-oriented, performance-driven environment where finance is expected to lead — not follow.The Ideal CandidateWe are specifically targeting leaders with:8+ years of progressive experience in Public Accounting (big 4) or industry Direct experience in Construction and/or service-related industries; Plumbing, HVAC, etc. Private Equity-backed company experience (required)Strong understanding of:Job costing & construction-in-progress accountingWorking capital-intensive business modelsOperational finance in multi-location environmentsProven ability to operate from the shop floor to the boardroomBuild and provide decks for PE firmExperience building reporting infrastructure in growth-oriented organizationsCPA and former Big 4 preferredIf you’re a Controller who understands how construction and service networks really run — and you thrive in a PE environment, send resume in WORD doc to Base $180-220kBonus
