Featuring complete aircraft nose-to-tail, value-added offerings, including Aircraft & Component Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Services (MRO), Aircraft & Engine Sales and Leasing, Used Serviceable Material (USM) Sales and Parts Exchange, Flight Equipment Asset Management Services, Internally developed aircraft and component modifications (engineered solutions) designed to enhance aircraft performance and operating economics (e.g. AerSale, AerTrak and AerAware).For more information, visit us at www.aersale.com.What we Offer:• Medical Insurance• 100% Employer Paid Dental, Vision, Life, Short and Long Term Disability Insurance• 401K with Employer Contribution• Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)• Education Reimbursement (related field)• Employee Referral Program and Recognition Program• Paid Holidays and 15 Paid Time-Off Days annuallyJob Description:Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Understands the CFRs, Airworthiness Directives, methods, techniques, and practices contained in the applicable manufacturers' maintenance and alteration documents, and/other data acceptable to or approved by the FAA used by the repair stationHas the appropriate experience, evidenced by employment history, training, certification or practical tests to perform in the supervisory position assigned.Interface with Customers on Quality issuesDevelop and maintain appropriate relationships with external and internal customers to facilitate the successful accomplishment of business objectivesMonitor, improve, and oversee all QMS quality policies/procedures to achieve and sustain all required certificationsMaintenance of AS9100 Certifications and assessment interface with 3rd party RegistrarDevelop, maintain and perform internal auditsDevelop and maintain the corrective/preventive action system and ensure follow-up and closure of corrective/preventive action Requests, as well as verification of effectivenessMonitor and report status of non-conformities from internal and external auditsPrepare and present periodic Management Reviews of the Quality System to senior managementReport and improve all Quality-related KPI'sLead Problem Solving eventsDevelop, implement, and execute product and process quality plans that assure conformance to all customer and regulatory requirementsAct as designated liaison for regulatory bodies and accrediting organizationsDevelop and maintain regulatory manuals, documentation and recordsManage customer, government, regulatory agency, and third-party quality auditsDevelop, maintain and ensure compliance with QMS procedures, work instructions and "Best Practices" throughout the facilityManage, train and mentor of Quality Inspectors, as well as assure inspection and test is planned, effective and efficient in mitigating quality risksSelect, develop and evaluate quality staff to assure skills align with job expectationsReporting to this position: Quality TeamTravel Requirements: 10% Education and Experience:BS/BA degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of technical discipline.Minimum five years of professional experience in quality management; in the aerospace industryExcellent written and verbal communication skillsA comprehensive knowledge of AS 9100 requirementsExperience with International and Aerospace Quality System Standards regulations, including planning and implementation is criticalExperience with quality manufacturing system and understanding of specifications, gage certification, capability analysis, data and defect analysis, variance reduction, etc.A sound knowledge of the application of Quality SystemsFamiliarity and experience with the application of APQP-D/PFMEA and control plans is requiredProficient capability with MS Office and QuantumIs appropriately certificated under CFR Part 65Has a minimum of eighteen (18) months of practical experience in procedures, practices, inspection methods, materials, tools, machine tools and equipment generally used in the work for which this repair station is ratedIf you would like to see your career take flight, apply today!
