Overview:
This is a pivotal role within our organization, providing essential support to the financial management team. This position ensures the accuracy and timeliness of all financial records while delivering comprehensive financial analysis and reporting to stakeholders. We are seeking an energetic candidate with relevant manufacturing experience, a strong background in accounting, and expertise in inventory control. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach, ready to collaborate with senior management and contribute to the company’s financial growth and success.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Controller in managing the day-to-day financial operations of the organization.
Prepare and review detailed financial reports, including general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
Maintain and analyze financial data, focusing on cash flow, budgeting, and inventory control.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory reporting requirements.
Manage and maintain accounting systems.
Oversee and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Conduct financial analysis and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with external auditors and regulatory agencies.
Provide financial support and guidance to other departments as needed.
Perform double-entry bookkeeping and other essential financial tasks.
Offer financial insights and strategic support to management and cross-functional teams.
Leverage manufacturing experience to drive improvements in financial and inventory management.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
Proven background in accounting and financial management, with relevant manufacturing experience.
Proficiency in inventory control and financial management within a manufacturing context.
Experience with SAP & GreatPlains and other accounting software.
Strong analytical skills and financial acumen.
Expertise in accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll processing.
Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements.
Competence in double-entry bookkeeping and financial analysis.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Energetic, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
