Carpenter JourneymanJob LocationsUS-DC-WashingtonTracking Code2026-12511OverviewACarpenter Journeymanperforms basic installation of materials on a construction sites.ResponsibilitiesCarpenter Journeymen typical responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to the following:Install items related to job site safety and functionality including safety rails, toe boards, ramps, temporary walls, temporary enclosures, elevator protection, decks for construction trailersBuild planning tablesHang safety signsCover holes or open areas that are safety hazardsMount Smartboards and TVs in job site trailersHang shelving in job site trailersReporting all safety incidents & injuries to Foreperson and Safety LeaderAny scope of work outside of they above listed, shall be planned, documented, and approved by Foreperson, Safety & ManagementQualificationsEXPERIENCE/EDUCATIONHigh school diploma or GED2+ years of carpentry experienceOr equivalent combination of education and experienceOSHA 10 hour certified recommended, (Next 150 Construction will assist with obtaining this certification if necessary)Proof of certificates, degrees, etc. upon hireKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIESBasic understanding of construction principles and proceduresWillingness to work in high-stress environment with extreme weather fluctuationsAbility to work in a team environmentSalary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team.Next 150 Construction Services has an unwavering focus on safety, the environment and caring about everyone involved in our work.Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.Next 150 Construction Services is not accepting unsolicited resumes from third party recruiters at this time.Next 150 Construction Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
