The integrated full-service solutions leverage a 99-year legacy in event management as well as new technologies to deliver moments that matter.SummaryThe Project Manager - Rigging Logistics is responsible for the overall operational rigging logistics associated with producing events in order to improve efficiencies, control costs and provide a seamless flow of information between Sales and Event Operation, and Freeman Electric. Plans, assigns and manages all operational activities prior to, during and after each event.This position will support our Audio Visual and Event Technology team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show-site 2-3 days per week based out of Las Vegas, NV.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvides technical advice and assists sales in the budgetary and developmental process of showsParticipates in site surveys as needed to ensure proper planning of eventsParticipates in the planning and implementation of operational activities for assigned events. Attends weekly operations/ sales meetings & provides event information inputPrepares production work books, reviews equipment totals and prepares non-bar code item requestsReviews equipment requirements to determine personnel and labor schedulesDetermines staffing needs and ensures that all labor requirements are submitted to the proper departments and or labor sourcesSupervises show site rigging operational functions to ensure they are performed in a timely and cost effective manner as assigned by supervisorCommunicates operational plans to show-site staff as requiredMaintains daily contact with on-site staff documenting changes & updates as requiredWorks directly within R2 to ensure complete equipment coverage on showsAssists in the scheduling and coordination of trucking arrangementsDevelops production schedules, reviews CAD plans, and facility arrangements for events as requiredSchedules and conducts pre and post-conference meetings. Conducts a post show meeting with theAccount Executives to review all purchase orders, labor costs and equipment usage to ensure proper billing to the customerRequests purchase orders and approves all invoices associated with eachCompiles and produces post show reportsPerforms other duties as assignedEducation & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or Equivalent with relevant work experience requiredMinimum 4 years experience in Overhead Rigging is preferredProficient in MS Office suiteProficient with Google Sheets & Google DocsUnderstanding of rigging safety procedures preferredFamiliarity with exposition work tickets preferredFamiliarity with local union jurisdictions and rules preferredTechnical overhead rigging training requiredETCP Certified Arena Rigger is preferredTravel RequirementsTravel 50% to 75%What We OfferThe Freeman Company provides benefits that aim to empower our people and their families to thrive mentally, physically, and financially.
