The successful candidate will be responsible for driving enrollment growth, advancing affordability and financial access, and fostering socioeconomic diversity. This role is pivotal in modernizing enrollment operations, with a focus on leveraging data analytics, predictive modeling, CRM systems, and emerging technologies to enhance the student experience and inform decision-making. The Vice President will also be expected to partner with academic and student affairs leaders to improve student readiness and success, and to ensure that enrollment efforts are aligned with workforce and post-graduation outcomes. Candidates for the Vice President position should have a minimum of 10 years' progressive leadership experience in enrollment management, admissions, student affairs, and/or financial aid within higher education. A master's degree is required, with a preference for an earned doctorate. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of enrollment best practices, strong financial and data acumen, and a proven track record of collaborative leadership. An entrepreneurial mindset and a clear appreciation for the mission and historical significance of an HBCU are essential, as the role involves shaping the future of the institution during a period of growth and renewal.
